Spywatch KS2 Summer Play
1st July 2015
This years summer play was written by the children in Year 6. They were inspired by some literacy work they had been doing about World war 2. Mrs Erskine showed the children a bbc programme called 'Spywatch.' In pairs, the class took an episode of Spywatch and picked out the important parts to create our summer play.
The spy was about children evacutaed to the country and thinking that there was a spy when really it turnes out that the bad guys were black marketeers.
The staff were very proud of how all the children performed and the professional way they took the time to learn their lines.
Years 3, 4 and 5 provided dance routines between scenes and were also the choir year 6 took all the lead acting and narrating roles.
The performances were held on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July in the evening. They children also did a special performance for grandparents on Friday afternoon.
