Magic Weekend at St James Park, Newcastle

21st May 2016
On Staurday 21st May 20 excited children along with Mrs Bradbury, Mrs Smith and some parents travelled to St James Park, Newcastle. We were invited to take part in a touch rugby festival during Super League Magic weeked.
The children got to play a touch rugby match, representing the Warrington Wolves Foundation, against other children from Castleford. This took place during half time of the Warrington wolves v Castleford Tigers match.
The children demonstrated great behaviour and sportsmanship throughout the whole day and weere a credit to their parents, themselves and the school. We are very proud of them all!

In fact, Sky Try, who sponsored the touch rugby event, were so impressed with our kit and pictures that we have won a rugby ball signed by England Rugby League Captain, Sean O'Loughlin.

As a reward for those children that participated, Warrington Wolves Foundation, have invited them to be mascots for Warrington Wolves st the Halliwell Jones stadium. This will take place on Friday 17th June. What two amaqzing opportuinities these children have been given.

Once again, we'd like to thank those that made it possible Shaun Briscoe, Lee Mitchell and the Warrington Wolves Foundation for giving us the opportunity, training and donating the kit as well as raffle prizes, Irlam and Cadishead Rotary for donating money towards the cost of transport, everybody that bought raffle tickets, had a photo with Wolfie or donated money for our Primrose and Blue Day and School Council for a donation towards transport.
THANK YOU!
