Menai day 2 canoeing and camp fire

15th June 2017
After a quiet night, once again, the weather has been kind to us, the sun is shining. This morning we set off for a hard morning canoeing. We took our packed lunches with us and found a scenic place to picnic.
"We had to work as a team to power our canoes" Cody
"It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed it lots."
During the afternoon, we were once again taking part in another water activity. This time we got to try our hand at sailing. The children had to help out by steering the boat and hoisting and changing the sales. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
"sailing was hard work but still fun" Reece.
" We got very wet during sailing as the waves were high."
The evening ended with a camp fire In the bothy, a wooden shelter, with marshmallow toasting and camp fire games. We've had a busy day and everyone is tired. We are sad that tomorrow is the last day but are looking forward to seeing our families.
