Message from our Head Teacher Mrs Mowbray

Message from our Head Teacher – Mrs Mowbray

It is with the greatest of pleasure that on behalf of our children, parents, staff and governors, I extend the warmest of welcomes to St. Helen’s CE Primary School.

Central to our vision and purpose as a Church of England school, is our Christian distinctiveness.  We strive every day to ensure that our children are educated within a strong Christian ethos which is underpinned by our core Christian Values of Love, Hope, Thankfulness, Courage, Forgiveness and Truthfulness. This enables all of our children to be educated as children of God and to truly live out our mission statement of “In his footsteps.  We will Love, Learn and Shine Together."

Our dedicated team of staff and governors are passionate and committed to providing our children with the highest of standards in teaching and learning.  At St. Helen’s CE Primary School, our aim is to provide children with a broad, balanced curriculum which promotes creativity; a love of learning and endeavours to educate the talents of the whole child.

However, we cannot succeed in fulfilling this vision alone.  As a result, we work collaboratively in partnership with our families, school, church parish and local community to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all of our pupils and helping them every day to be the very best that they can be.

The safeguarding and well-being of all children and adults is of the highest priority to everyone in our school.  We therefore provide a school environment which aims to nurture and support the well-being of every member of our school community which enables everyone to enjoy all that school life at St. Helen’s CE Primary School has to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website and if you have any celebrations, questions, suggestions or require any further information please, do not hesitate to contact me at school.

Best wishes,

Karen Mowbray
